Qualifications:
- The fundamental prerequisite for this role is a high school diploma or an equivalent certification
- However, individuals with extra education or certification in logistics or supply chain management will be given preference
- Proficient in the workings of a warehouse, especially in terms of receiving and controlling inventory
- Proficiency in efficiently operating inventory management software and barcode scanning systems
- Excellent focus on the minutest of details and ability to sustain precision in a quick-paced work environment
- Competent in handling tasks and time management with expertise
- A person with outstanding communication abilities has the capacity to produce clear and convincing arguments in both oral and written form
- Expertise to elevate and transport substantial goods, as mandated

- To succeed in this role, you must be able to receive incoming shipments of merchandise, perform detailed comparisons between the contents you receive and the relevant documentation, and record accurate inventory data in software systems
- Carefully inspect the received goods to ensure that they are in compliance with the prescribed quality regulations
- Notify the relevant staff if there are any defects or damages that require attention
- Organize received inventory for storage in a systematic manner
- Ensure that the inventory items are arranged in a way that makes it easy to access and handle them
- Record all received shipments meticulously with accurate details regarding the amount and condition of goods
- Use this information to produce reports that can help you keep track of incoming shipments and stock status
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to promptly address any receiving-related concerns or issues
- Streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency to ensure optimal performance
